4. Special Vehicle Application
Vehicles are not permitted to enter the exhibition hall for unloading or construction work. If you must use a commercial vehicle to enter the exhibition hall for construction work due to special needs, please provide details regarding the construction workflow and the type of vehicle to be used in the application. Vehicles will be allowed to enter the exhibition hall accompanied by the pavilion staff after approval by the Taipei City Convention & Exhibition Industry Development Foundation.
Vehicles weighing less than 15 tons are allowed to enter and exit the unloading area of the Zimmering Pavilion on the asphalt surface. If there is any special need exceeding the above requirements, please complete the [Attachment 5: Special Vehicle Entry Application] and upload the scanned printout to the G-EIGHT Exhibitors' Site before October 31, 2024 (Thu).
The applicant team should notify the venue staff/organizer to inspect vehicle movement and the current condition of the venue before approving the entry and exit of the vehicle.
To maintain the safety of the exhibition grounds, the applicant team shall be fully responsible for any damage caused to the facilities or personnel due to the weight of the vehicle or its load, its operation, or other reasons.
All heavy goods vehicles are required to present a 24-hour weighing certificate to verify that their total vehicle weight does not exceed the exhibition hall's load limit. Anyone who exceeds the load limit (see note), does not have a weighing certificate, has not applied for admission in advance, has not obtained approval, or has doubts about the vehicle's loading as determined by the on-site inspectors will be prohibited from entering the exhibition hall. Note: The weight of trucks (including the total weight of the vehicle and cargo) is limited to 15 tons.
Trucks over 10 tons must apply for a truck permit from the Taipei City Police Department’s Traffic Brigade in advance, according to government regulations. For more information, please refer to the Taipei City Police Department website.
