3.Power and Facility Supply

  1. Power and Air Conditioning Supply

    1. Electricity supply:

      1. During the entry and exit period: 110 volt power and ceiling lighting will be supplied to the columns of the exhibition halls; this will be according to the opening hours for booth decoration and setup. Exhibitors may apply to the applicant team for power supply to booths on site.

      2. During the exhibition period: the power supply will be activated before the entrance time each day. The power supply to the booths in the pavilion will be turned off one hour after the end of exhibition time; the lighting throughout the entire pavilion will be turned off after 1.5 hours.

      3. Exhibitors are required to apply for the electricity they need to avoid power failure due to over-consumption of electricity. In the event of power failure due to improper construction or insufficient applicant team capacity, the exhibitor shall be solely responsible for the power failure and shall not seek compensation from the organizer or Taipei Expo Foundation. The exhibitor shall be fully responsible for compensation if any damage is caused to the facilities of the Foundation or any other organization.

      4. If there is a demand for additional power supply, applicant teams are requested to read [Attachment 3, Additional booth power supply application and configuration drawing instructions] and complete the [Booth Power Supply Application] form and [Booth Water and Electricity Layout] on the G-EIGHT Exhibitors' Site before October 31, 2024 (Thu). Late submission will be regarded as abandonment of the application. If additional equipment is required, please complete the [Attachment 8, Additional Equipment Request Form] on-site. The items and amount should be according to the content of the form on-site; please settle the fee in cash when applying.

    2. Air Conditioning Supply:

      1. Applicant teams will not be provided with air-conditioning during the bump-in and bump-out periods. If an applicant team wishes to use air-conditioning, they should complete [Attachment 6, Application for use of air-conditioning during bump-in/bump-out periods] at the Organizer’s service counter on the day of the show while submitting the application within the specified period. The organizer will calculate the cost on the spot. The applicant should pay on the same day, and an invoice will be sent out after the show.

      2. The air-conditioning fee will be calculated based on "NT$10,000 per hour" according to the start and end time of actual use; less than one hour will be counted as one hour.

      3. Air conditioning will be provided at the exhibition hall during the event.

  2. Utility Application:

    1. The equipment used for electrical wiring must comply with the National Standard (CNS). The Foundation reserves the right to request the applicant team to replace substandard equipment and materials.

    2. Exhibitors are prohibited from overloading, modifying, dismantling, or taking possession of any regional protection switches installed throughout the exhibition center.

    3. If the accumulated basic power or 220-volt power must be exceeded, prior application must be made for demand. Any unauthorized connection of electricity without application will be disconnected without further notice. The exhibitor will be responsible for any damages caused.

    4. Exhibitors shall be fully responsible for any damages caused by the exhibitor's false or incorrect application for electricity, failure to follow the construction plans, or poor construction. Exhibitors shall be liable for any damages to the life, body, or property of a third party or any damages to environmental facilities caused by the above reasons.

    5. Exhibitors whose exhibits require the installation of transceiver antennas should apply in advance. They must obtain the consent of the applicant team to construct antennas in accordance with the required locations and paths. The costs will be borne by the exhibitors, who will be responsible for dismantling the relevant cables and equipment and restoring the site to its original condition after the exhibition. The organizer shall be responsible for dismantling the relevant wiring and equipment and restoring the site after the exhibition.

    6. Please use energy-saving lighting to align with the government's energy-saving and carbon-reduction policy to reduce global warming,

    7. The Epic package, Legendary package, and Mythic package booths are all open space. The organizer will provide 110V/10A power with one power socket at no charge.

    8. Perfect packages are decorated by the organizer. The organizer will provide 110V/5A power with one power socket at no charge.

    9. Rare packages are decorated by the organizer. The organizer will provide two sets of 110V/5A power sockets at no charge.

    10. Applicants should review [Attachment 3, Additional Booth Power Supply Application and Configuration Drawing Instructions]. Complete and submit the [Booth Power Supply Application] and [Booth Water and Electricity Layout] on the G-EIGHT Exhibitors' Site before October 31, 2024 (Thu). Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered abandoned. For on-site additional equipment requests, fill out the [Attachment 8, Additional Equipment Request Form]. Items and amounts will be based on the on-site form; please settle the fee in cash at the time of application. Please note that if the equipment is unavailable on-site, additional requests cannot be accepted.

    11. The organizer will disconnect the power supply without prior notice in the case of an unauthorized connection of electricity,

    12. To ensure the correct location of the relevant application equipment, exhibitors are requested to complete the [Booth Water and Electricity Layout] and [Booth Power Supply Application] on the G-EIGHT Exhibitors' Site before October 31, 2024 (Thu). In case of late payment, the organizer will configure it itself. If the applicant team requests to adjust the related equipment on-site, the items and amount of additional equipment can be added on-site in accordance with [Attachment 8, Additional Equipment Request Form] (except for the adjustment cost, which should be fully borne by the exhibitor team). The cost should be settled in cash at the time of application. However, the application for additional equipment cannot be accepted if the equipment is no longer available on-site.

  3. Internet Application

    1. The organizer provides a wireless network environment for exhibitors to use. Network traffic is mostly at the level of web browsing.

    2. If you have any other network requirements, you can write to the official mailbox (2b@geight.io; business@geight.io) to put in a request. We will provide relevant assistance accordingly.
