Attachment 5, Explanation for Booth Water and Electricity Layout & Additional Power Supply

Please complete the following procedures by November 10, 2025.

Booth Water and Electricity Layout Drawing Guidelines

  1. All exhibitors participating under Enterprise Exhibit Packages must upload their Booth Water and Electricity Layout via the G-EIGHT Exhibitor Site.

  2. The layout must clearly indicate the number, distribution, and intended location of the provided basic power sockets. If the layout is not submitted, the organizer will proceed with standard configurations. If any changes are requested onsite, all associated costs shall be borne by the exhibitor.

  3. Exhibitors who fail to submit by the deadline will have their sockets and equipment positioned according to default settings. Any adjustments required onsite will be charged to the exhibitor.

  4. The organizer will review the drawing based on the applicable "Add-on Items" to check for omissions.

  5. If your layout is prepared by a booth contractor, please ensure they fully understand the guidelines; final responsibility still lies with the exhibitor.

  6. To ensure safety and accessibility for installation and maintenance, please clearly indicate the planned location of the power box and reserve sufficient surrounding space.

Submission Requirements

  1. Exhibitors must provide the following two diagrams:

  • Top View (Diagram 1): Indicate booth numbers on all adjacent sides (top, bottom, left, right). Clearly mark each equipment’s position and its distance from booth edges. It is recommended to overlay a grid system with units clearly labeled.

  • 3D View (Diagram 2): Use a 3D perspective to indicate exact socket placements (e.g., “on cabinet”, “on floor”), and label their intended usage (e.g., computer, lighting, demo station).

  1. Submission Methods:

  • You may hand-draw using the blank sample layout provided.

  • Or annotate directly on the booth layout plan and upload it as an attachment.

  1. Recommended file formats: JPG, PDF, PNG. Please be sure to include your booth number and company name for identification.

Please complete the following steps before November 10, 2025 for additional power applications:

  1. Complete the Booth Power Supply Application form via the G-EIGHT Exhibitor Site.

  2. Once completed, download the invoice and stamp it with your company’s invoice seal.

  3. Upload your Booth Water and Electricity Layout.

  4. After remittance is completed, upload the stamped invoice and remittance info to the Add-on Payment & Invoice Submission form on the G-EIGHT Exhibitor Site.

  5. The application is only considered complete once payment is confirmed by the organizer.

Application Notes

  1. If a confirmed order is canceled for reasons unrelated to the organizer, a bank transfer fee will be deducted. No refunds for cancellations after November 10, 2025.

  2. Late or incomplete applications will be considered a forfeiture.

  3. For on-site add-on requests, complete the Attachment 7, On-site Additional Equipment Request Form and pay in cash. Availability and pricing will be based on on-site announcements. Requests may be denied if items are out of stock.

  4. If the power box has already been installed as of move-in day, any request for reconfiguration will incur a 50% adjustment fee.

  5. Each power category is limited to one unit. For higher capacities, apply cumulatively (e.g., for 50A, apply for 20A + 30A).

  6. Additional power (excluding basic 110V sockets) comes with an MCCB switch and power box only. If sockets are required:

  • Organizer-built booths may rent from the organizer.

  • Self-built booths must obtain sockets from their contractors. The organizer will not offer rentals.

  1. The organizer will install power boxes and sockets at designated points. All wiring from the box to the device, as well as the safety of connected appliances, is the exhibitor’s responsibility.

  2. For 24-hour continuous power supply, the organizer will not be held liable for interruptions caused by Taipower outages or temporary equipment failures.

Additional Usage Guidelines

  1. Any device exceeding original capacity must be pre-approved by the organizer.

  2. If total usage exceeds the basic quota, a request must be submitted in advance. Unauthorized use will result in immediate disconnection without notice.

  3. If total requested capacity exceeds venue circuit limits, the organizer may reject the request. During the event, overuse may lead to extra charges and immediate disconnection. Exhibitors will bear any resulting losses.

  4. Exhibitors must convert their own special power needs. The organizer does not provide adaptors, voltage converters, or transformers. Damage due to improper equipment is the exhibitor’s responsibility.

  5. Cross-booth cabling or socket sharing is strictly prohibited. Violators will have power cut off immediately and bear full responsibility.

  6. Always double-check booth number and company name when submitting materials to ensure proper identification and setup.

  7. Self-Built Booth Contractors:

  • During move-in/move-out, only 110V power at column locations and ceiling lighting will be available, strictly for setup/teardown.

  • Additional power must be applied onsite.

  • All power work must be conducted by licensed electrical contractors. Lighting installation must follow the organizer’s guidelines.

  • The organizer reserves the right to terminate power if violations occur. All damages and liabilities will be the exhibitor’s responsibility.
