2. Other

  1. Booths rented by exhibitors cannot be transferred privately. The organizer has the right to cancel the exhibitor's use of the booth if the case is found to be true.

  2. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify an exhibitor from participating in the competition if the exhibitor is found to be ineligible to exhibit or sell any work or product that does not conform to the information provided in the application.

  3. Exhibitors must maintain an essential staff stationed at their booths for the duration of the event and are responsible for hosting visitors.

  4. Exhibitors are requested to adequately protect their important personal belongings during the exhibition period. The organizer will not be responsible for storage or compensation if they are lost or damaged.

  5. Exhibitors, and any persons authorized by the exhibitors to participate in an event, shall not endanger public safety by attempting to cause trouble during the event.

  6. Animals or vehicles may not be brought into the venue except with the organizer’s consent.

  7. Engaging in political activities, using audio-visual equipment to broadcast political information, or distributing political leaflets during the event is strictly prohibited. In case of violation, the organizer will terminate the exhibitor’s participation in the current event and ban the exhibitor from participating in this exhibition for the next two years.

  8. If an exhibitor intends to arrange for government officials or international VIPs to enter their venue during an event, the exhibitor should inform the organizer of the relevant itinerary and security plan in advance.

  9. Exhibitors shall comply with public safety regulations when decorating facilities and arranging activities to safeguard the lives and properties of participants. Exhibitors shall be liable for any compensation or legal responsibility for any loss of life, bodily injury, death, or property damage incurred by any visitor or participant of the show.

  10. In the event that a demonstration or operation of an exhibit generates smoke, exhaust, dust, odor, irritating gas, or organic chemical solvent pollutants, exhibitors are required to supply their own pollution treatment equipment while promptly and appropriately disposing of said pollutants. The presence of such pollutants must not impact neighboring booths. Exhibitors must promptly remedy any such occurrences. Exhibitors will be held accountable for covering all associated costs should any violations incur fines or necessary compensation.

  11. Exhibitors operating a show should be reinforced with protective equipment to avoid injury to the audience.

  12. Exhibitors shall be liable for all damage and legal responsibility for any damage caused to facilities or neighboring exhibits due to improper construction of their booth or other intentional or negligent infringement of rights or for the failure of other exhibitors to exhibit in part or in full. The exhibitor shall be responsible for all damages and legal liabilities therein.

  13. If exhibitors wish to sell their products at their booths, exhibitors are requested to issue invoices or receipts when making transactions at the request of the Taipei City Taxation Office. The organizer will provide a list of exhibitors in a register to be sent to the relevant units for on-site auditing; exhibitors must provide the organizer with relevant proof if they are exempt from issuing invoices.

  14. Exhibitors are required to request and obtain permission to install and use water and electricity facilities in the exhibition hall in accordance with their contract. Neither the organizer nor the Taipei Convention & Exhibition Development Foundation will be responsible for any damage caused therein if the Taiwan Power Company experiences a power outage, sudden failure of electrical equipment in the exhibition hall, interruption of water supply, sudden failure of water supply equipment from the Taipei Water Supply Office, or failure to promptly repair water leakages.

  15. In the event of force majeure referring to natural disasters (landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, typhoons, rainstorms, hail, flooding, lightning, or other natural disasters), man-made disasters, war, national demise, change of laws, terrorist activities, mass events, serious infectious diseases, nuclear, biological or chemical accidents, or radioactive contamination (which has reached the level recognized by the regulations), other natural or man-made disasters, such as war, national tragedies, changes in laws and regulations, terrorist activities, mass events, serious infectious diseases, nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological contamination (which have reached the standard of disaster recognized by the regulations) must be approved in writing by the governmental authorities. In the event of force majeure, the death or serious illness of a principal performer (hospital certificate and public statement should be submitted), or a major equipment failure at the exhibition venue that prevents all or a portion of the program from being held as scheduled, the parties shall not be liable for any damages. In the event of force majeure, the Taipei Expo Foundation may close the venue or terminate any activities inside or outside the venue and evacuate all persons present at any time.

  16. Exhibitors are requested to cooperate with the promotional activities planned by the organizer, including but not limited to pre-show press releases, on-site activities, pre-event and on-site online activities, etc.

  17. Without prior notice, the organizer reserves the right to refuse or prohibit the participation of any exhibitor whose participation is inconsistent with the theme of the exhibition or that damages the image of the organizer, the exhibition, or the related stakeholders.

  18. The organizer reserves the right to review the exhibits' contents and to allocate and adjust the exhibition areas as needed.

  19. The organizer may revise these Terms and Conditions as required if anything is not covered.
