6. Emergency Response Plan

  • TheTaipei Convention and Exhibition Industry Development Foundation may implement the necessary inspection and access control of persons, vehicles, or goods per the anti-terrorism plan approved by the competent authorities to maintain the personal and property safety of the venue and its users (including but not limited to venue users, staff, and visitors). The Taipei Convention and Exhibition Industry Development Foundation may implement the necessary personal, vehicle, or object inspections and gain access control following the anti-terrorism plan approved by the competent authorities. If information is received before the event, the most stringent inspection of persons, vehicles, or goods and access control may be implemented on the event day. The event date may be postponed if necessary. If security information is received on event day and the public security authorities deem it necessary, the emergency response mechanism may be activated immediately. This could require event suspension, venue closure, mandatory evacuation of people and/or acceptance of the command of security personnel of the relevant competent authorities. Any person, including, but not limited to, users of the exhibition venue, staff, visitors, etc., who suffer loss as a result of the incident shall not be permitted to seek compensation or reimbursement from the organizer, the Taipei Expo Foundation, the entrusted entities, the persons in charge, employees, or representatives of such entities. The organizer shall not be liable for any damages or compensation.
